Nationwide Title Clearing, Inc. (NTC) officials were recently invited to attend an ice cream social at the North Pinellas Branch of YMCA of the Suncoast after the company assisted the nonprofit organization in not only reaching, but surpassing its fundraising target of $125,000 on March 28th. The event was held in celebration of the facility’s most recent successful “Capital Campaign,” to which NTC contributed in an effort to financially assist local students and their families. For NTC, many of whose employees are active volunteers and regularly donate both money and time to charitable organizations, the event provided an opportunity for the company to further its commitment to remaining an active part of the local community.
YMCA of the Suncoast is a charitable, nonprofit service organization located in the East Lake area of Palm Harbor, serving 86,000 members and eight locations on the west coast of Florida; the North Pinellas branch currently serves more than 9,000 individuals and family members.
The social was well-attended, with over 50 employees, donators and local residents. NTC was represented by two executives, and NTC CEO John Hillman says that the YMCA’s fundraiser is one of many initiatives the company will participate in this year with the organization.
“At NTC, we do everything we can to make our employees proud to work here—and we hope that our efforts will encourage more philanthropic efforts throughout the community,” said Hillman.
